September 23, 2024 – Myrtle Beach, SC – Bojangles’ is excited to announce its first-ever Coaches Biscuit Bowl Bake Off, a friendly yet spirited competition where local high school football coaches will swap playbooks for rolling pins. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 8th at 11:00 AM at the Bojangles’ Grande Dunes location in Myrtle Beach.
This inaugural Biscuit Bowl will feature Coach Josh Pierce from Conway High School and Coach Mikey Wilson from Myrtle Beach High School. Each coach will spend an hour learning the art of biscuit-making under the guidance of Bojangles’ Master Biscuit Makers before squaring off in a bake-off judged by a panel of master biscuit-making experts.
The winning coach will secure a $2,000 donation for their school’s football team, while the runner-up will receive $1,000. However, the true winners are the students and the community, as the event will provide a fun and engaging way to support local high school athletics. Both coaches will be recognized and presented with their donations during a live radio broadcast and tailgate party at Doug Shaw Stadium on October 11th, as Conway High School takes on Myrtle Beach High School.
“We’re thrilled to bring our community together for this fun and unique event, and we can’t wait to see our talented local coaches show off their biscuit-making skills,” said Jennifer Kiskunas, owner of Bo Flavor Bojangles. “It’s a privilege to support our schools and communities in such a delicious and engaging way. We hope everyone comes out and joins the fun while cheering on their favorite coach!”
The Biscuit Bowl Bake Off is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to come out and cheer for their favorite coach as they roll, bake, and compete for a great cause.
