Bojanlges Biscuit Bowl – 2026

Bojangles Biscuit Bowl featuring Conway High School and Myrtle Beach High School in a coach-vs.-coach biscuit-making competition on October 6 at the Church Street Bojangles in Conway, SC.

Coach vs. Coach: The Bojangles Biscuit Bowl Returns to Conway on October 6

Before Conway and Myrtle Beach High School face off under the Friday night lights for Battle for the Bell, their head coaches have another competition to settle first.

On Tuesday, October 6, Conway Head Coach Jody Jenerette and Myrtle Beach Head Coach Mickey Wilson will trade playbooks for biscuit cutters as the Bojangles Biscuit Bowl Bake-Off returns to kick off rivalry week. The competition takes place from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Bojangles, 1617 Church St. in Conway.

And yes, they’ve been training for this.

Same Rivalry. Different Playbook.

Both coaches have completed two training sessions with Bojangles Master Biscuit Makers. Now they’ll have 30 minutes to prove they were paying attention.

Each coach will make a batch of Bojangles’ made-from-scratch biscuits while Master Biscuit Makers referee and judge the competition.

No help from the pros. No calling in a substitute. Just two rival coaches, a whole lot of flour and one Biscuit Bowl Trophy.

$3,000 for Two Local Football Programs

Conway enters this year as the defending Biscuit Bowl champion, earning home-field advantage and bringing the competition to Conway.

But this one is about more than bragging rights.

The winning coach earns $2,000 for his school’s football program, while the runner-up receives $1,000, putting $3,000 back into two local programs.

“The Battle for the Bell means so much to both of these schools and to our community, and we want the Biscuit Bowl to become another fun part of that tradition,” said Jennifer Kiskunas, who owns Bo Flavor Bojangles with her husband, Mark. “We get to have a little fun with the rivalry, but at the end of the day, both schools walk away with something that supports their football programs. That’s what makes this event special for us.”

Round One Starts Tuesday

The Biscuit Bowl may crown a champion Tuesday, but the rivalry won’t be settled for long.

A few days later, Conway and Myrtle Beach meet again, this time on the football field for Battle for the Bell.

Coach vs. coach Tuesday. Team vs. team Friday.

The rivalry starts at Bojangles.
